Mobile App Privacy Policy
KSA Events — Mobile App Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 9, 2026
Last updated: May 9, 2026
Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how KSA (“KSA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the KSA Events mobile application (the “App”). The App helps attendees access KSA’s web-based trip and event portal on a phone or tablet.
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@ksaevents.net (please include “Privacy” in the subject line). This policy is published at https://www.ksaevents.net/privacy.
What the App is for
The App is designed for people attending KSA sports tournaments and related trips or events. After you enter the Webcode and PIN KSA provided to you (for example, in a registration or welcome email), the App opens KSA’s portal so you can view practical event information—such as dates, times, schedules, locations, and similar trip- or tournament-related details. The App is a launcher and viewer for that portal experience; it is not a general-purpose social network or messaging product.
How access works
The App does not implement traditional in-App account creation, email-and-password login, or OAuth-style tokenized authentication managed by the App itself (for example, no persistent access or refresh tokens issued by the App through a social or enterprise identity provider).
Instead, access is based on a Webcode and PIN pair that KSA associates with your registration or trip. You enter that pair in the App so it can open the correct Salesforce Experience Cloud portal content for you. That model is credential-based access to a web portal, not a separate full account system built only inside the App.
Information we process through the App
Webcode and PIN
- You may save your Webcode and PIN on your device so you do not have to re-enter them each time.
- On supported native builds, we store those values using the device’s protected storage (for example, the iOS Keychain or Android’s encrypted keystore-backed storage). If protected storage cannot be used, the App may store the same values in standard on-device storage as a fallback.
- When you open your trip or event information, the App sends your Webcode and PIN over HTTPS to KSA’s Salesforce-hosted portal (for example, the CoachesApp experience) as part of loading that content in the App’s web view or browser flow.
Information shown in the portal
- The portal may display registration, roster, schedule, venue, contact, and similar trip- or tournament-related information supplied through KSA’s systems. What appears depends on your registration and KSA’s configuration for your event.
Technical and platform information
- Apple and Google process information when you download, install, or update the App from the App Store or Google Play, and as part of normal platform services (for example, diagnostics or fraud prevention), under their respective policies.
- The embedded portal may use cookies, similar technologies, server logs, or analytics as configured in KSA’s or Salesforce’s environment. Additional practices may be described in other notices on https://www.ksaevents.net where applicable.
Push notifications
- The current public release of the App does not register your device for push notifications and does not collect a push notification token through the App for that purpose. If KSA adds push in a future version, KSA will update this policy and the App’s store disclosures before enabling that functionality.
How we use information
We use the information described above only as needed to:
- Open and display your trip- and event-related portal content;
- Remember your Webcode and PIN on your device when you choose to save them; and
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the App.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we share information
We disclose information only where reasonably necessary:
- Salesforce / Experience Cloud: To host the portal and return the correct trip- or event-related content when you submit your Webcode and PIN over HTTPS.
- Apple / Google: As part of distributing and running the App on their platforms.
- Legal: When required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of KSA, our users, or the public.
Retention
- On your device: Saved Webcode and PIN remain until you clear saved credentials in the App (where offered) or delete the App, subject to your device’s own storage behavior.
- In KSA / Salesforce systems: How long registration- or portal-related data is kept is governed by KSA’s business, contractual, and records-management practices and any notices that apply when you use KSA’s websites or registration flows.
Security
We transmit your Webcode and PIN to the portal using HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You should treat your Webcode and PIN as sensitive access information, use a device passcode or biometric lock where available, and contact KSA promptly if you believe someone else has obtained your codes.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and KSA does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the App for its own marketing purposes. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us in a way that should not have occurred, contact support@ksaevents.net and we will take appropriate steps.
Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing, or to appeal a decision about a request. To submit a request related to information processed in connection with this App or KSA’s trip portal, email support@ksaevents.net with “Privacy request” in the subject line. KSA may need to verify your request and may be unable to fulfill requests that conflict with law or legitimate retention needs.
International users
KSA is based in the United States. If you use the App from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or in other countries where KSA or its vendors operate. Those locations may have data protection laws that differ from those where you live.
Changes to this policy
KSA may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Last updated date at the top of this page. For material changes, KSA may provide additional notice as required by law (for example, through the App, by email where KSA has a relationship with you, or on our website). The Effective date at the top reflects when the current version took effect.
California residents (summary)
If California law applies to you, you may have additional rights regarding access, deletion, and certain disclosures about personal information, and the right to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” as those terms are defined under California law. KSA does not sell personal information collected through the App in the conventional sense of selling data for money. To exercise California privacy rights, email support@ksaevents.net with “California privacy rights” in the subject line.
Note for KSA: This text is aligned to the May 9, 2026 product behavior described above; have qualified counsel confirm entity name (if different from “KSA”), minors’ practices, and any EU/UK GDPR statements before you rely on it as your sole legal document.
