Competition Format
The KSA Sun’Sational Baseball Tournament includes dozens of teams in total, but all teams are divided into competition brackets of 8 teams. This format serves two functions:
- Teams are divided into competitive groupings, so whether you are on the high end of the competitive level or rebuilding, you will be seeded into a bracket that is challenging and competitive to your players.
- The 8-Team bracket (sample shown at bottom) provides a three game guarantee no matter where you finish in the tournament. This allows all participating teams to plan their remaining schedule appropriately.
Junior Varsity
As in all KSA Events, Junior Varsity competition is typically available to all teams interested. This allows your entire program to experience the team bonding aspects of KSA Event participation without concern that your younger players will miss out on game experience. JV game quantities vary with participating team interest.
Disney’s Baseball Spring Training provides a unique opportunity to allow teams to practice, schedule scrimmages and schedule official games.
